Established in 2016

The Burke Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit mental health clinic based in Tunkhannock, PA. Our agency recognizes the severe need for mental health services across the country as well as right here in Northeast Pennsylvania. We know that the need for psychiatric services, is by far one of the greatest needs in our area. For example, in the Wyoming County are there are only two part-time providers that clients have to choose from one is for adults and one is for children.

Founded in 2015 by Jessica Burke, MSW, LSW, CMFSW when she realized that she was ready to fulfill her dream of opening a mental health clinic. A graduate of Marywood University with her Masters in Social Work, Jessica is licensed in Social Work by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.. She has over 7 years experience as an outpatient therapist in a vast array of different situations. More recently Jessica has achieved her certificate in Masters in Forensic Social Work giving her a particular edge when handling court-ordered treatments and the forensic population.
